U-Bolts questions, answered
Do I need to order U-bolts, or can you make them the same day?
Bent in house while the truck is on the rack — give us the drop length, diameter and arch and there's nothing to order.
How do you know what size U-bolt my truck needs?
From your truck's spec if you have it, or measured directly off the axle and spring pack if you don't. Either way, nothing gets bent until the numbers are right.
What are the signs my U-bolts need replacing?
Rust, stretching or visible deformation, a spring pack that's working loose, or rattling from the pack under load. Any of those and the bolts are the first thing to check.
Do you carry U-bolt kits, or just the bolts?
Pre-assembled kits with the hardware to go with them are in stock too, built to the standards of the leading brands — not just the bolts on their own.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome, Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 4:30, at 1050 West Penn Pike, Tamaqua — most U-bolt jobs happen while you wait.
