About Central Spring ServiceTamaqua, PA

Four generations committed to excellence — honesty, integrity and hard work since 1941.

About the shop

One family, one shop, since 1941

Central Spring Service was opened by Edward R. Tite in 1941 and moved to its current location on the West Penn Pike in 1958. His son Edward J. Tite took over in 1972 and ran the shop for 43 years; Edward R. Tite III joined in 1984 and worked alongside his father until his passing in April 2015. Today the fourth generation keeps the same work going from the same building.

The work is heavy-truck suspension: air bags, shocks, ball joints, springs and axles — repairs, replacements and exchange parts. Dump trucks, cement mixers, fire apparatus, school buses, and everything from pickups to tractor trailers. Trucks run in from up and down the state — Hazleton, Scranton, Allentown and beyond.

The standard has not changed in four generations: honesty, integrity and hard work — no invented problems, no padded bills.
